Özet: Kolektif sorumluluk, genel bir kabulle, ilkel bir sorumluluk anlayışı olarak görülmekteyse de kolektif sorumluluk fikrine sıcak bakan düşünürler mevcuttur. Onların görüşlerini gerek grupların ahlaki fail olamayacağı gerekse grupların, bireylerinden bağımsız olarak tek başlarına niyetlerinin söz konusu olamayacağı temelinde eleştiren görüşler de mevcuttur. Bu kısa çalışmada her iki görüş de özetlenmeye çalışılmıştır.

COLLECTIVE RESPONSIBILITY

Abstract: Although collective responsibility is generally considered as a primitive way of understanding responsibility, still there are thinkers who are sympathetic to the collective responsibility point of view. Their views are countered by arguments asserting that groups may not be individual agents and groups cannot have intentions independent from their members. The aim of this brief work is to summarize arguments from both sides of the dispute.
